Great article about 2 of my favourite things, food & inspiring settings. I totally agree about how the Moor Market is underated but it does a great job keeping pensionners like me happy. The Cutlery Works is very popular but for me it missed a trick in not opening to the river like some of its neighbours. I'm looking forward to better weather to sample a few new places. Thanks.

Thanks Jill! Glad you liked it. I'm going to try the Moor Market this week after reading Mina's piece!

Really fascinating article. Hadn’t thought about the connection and progression from pop up to markets to food hall. As a big Cutlery Works fan, looking forward to the Cambridge Street Collective. It will definitely tempt us back into Sheffield city centre again, which can only be a good thing!

Thanks Eileen 🙏 Really glad you liked it! Yes, I didn't really understand how the whole system worked so I found it interesting too.

I don't think moor market is underrated when it's hard to find a seat on any weekday lunchtime..

Fair enough but I think Mina meant the Moor Market isn't feted like those other places are. While the Moor Market may be busy on weekday lunchtimes, I bet it's not as packed as Peddler or Cutlery Works on a weekend? Having said that I'll definitely be going down for some vegan Thai and Nepalese food soon!

Yes true, and the Nepalese food in the Hungry Buddha is just so consistently amazing.. But Moor Market is just a different vibe really, and really top notch in its own terms. All kinds of people go there, not just middle class foodie types. ;)

Very busy Saturday. Not open Sunday. Fantastic food from all the vendors.
