I went last night - I thought it was superb. I loved the way the original time period was suggested but counterpointed with modern details - it made it universal and relevant, and the ways the microphones were used were genius. Brilliant casting. I went with a group of five and all of us came out buzzing with excitement about it. I've always loved this play - I've taught it and directed it - and it was an extraordinary experience to see it done again, with such skill and such a fresh take. Kudos to all.
Good to see a proper play at the Crucible instead of the constant diet of musicals and re-runs. I may be wrong but the last Shakespeare was Coriolanus in 2020?

This is a superb, gripping production, true to its time and true to the now. Rachel’s intelligent review only adds to my engagement.
I was completely gripped by this last night, a wonderful production. The sound design and use of lighting was excellent.
An excellent production. Great performances by all.

An incredible production that makes a familiar play immediate and relevant to today's moralistic, proscriptive, and frequently hysterical society.
