A contrast to Sheffield Steelers ice hockey team who have overcome the tragedy that happened in October at the Arena and have done the double winning the Challenge Cup and are the Elite League champions.

Both clubs could do with a change in ownership. My team United especially. However being in the Premier League isn't all it is cracked up to be, as someone said recently it's actually more fun getting there.

A few months ago Sheffield FC were bottom of the league. At the time of writing they have moved into the top half of the table following a 5-0 victory. There have been problems on the pitch this season, caused by the weather and some home fixtures have been played on borrowed grounds.

As for Hallam FC, it's worth mentioning that they went out of the FA Vase in the 5th Round after a penalty shoot out to Lincoln Utd. Their previous best in this competition was the 4th Round.

I know you are referring to men's football but could you specify that? After the popularity of the women's Euros and World cup I was hoping it might be accepted in 2024 that women also play football.
