Thanks Ruth! There have been huge changes in the industry but it’s amazing how so many things are the same. I really enjoyed talking to Neil and swapping stories with him. There is still a big need for local journalism and a market for it. It just needs a new business model (which Tribune subscribers are helping us create!).

There are a couple of reasons that I never use the website of The Star:
- I can never find anything, even when I know the title, author and date of a piece
- the layout (mainly the way the page keeps jumping around) and the adverts are SO irritating.
I always use the BBC for local news.
