It was lovely that Silkstone Greens got a mention, however, I would like to point out none of greens would ever wear a puffer jacket to dance in no matter how cold it gets. Accordions are not allowed in our band - it is in face melodeons you are referring to and a reference to suffragettes compared to over sexualised school girls would have been more appreciated.
Hi Lucy. Thanks for your comment. Please don’t get me wrong. I really enjoyed watching all the different morris sides. I was just trying to describe it in a funny way and writing humorously isn’t my forte. Would be nice to do a proper full length piece about how popular morris is in Sheffield and South Yorkshire sometime.
